ISLAMABAD: ARY News banned by Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) just two days ago, was back on air Wednesday following the orders of the Sindh High Court.
The regulatory authority issued a notification directing the cable operators across the country to restore the transmission, as ordered by the court.
The channel was taken off air on Monday for airing a defamatory program against the judiciary in May.
Last week PEMRA banned the channel's prominent anchor Mubashir Lucman's program ‘Khara Such’ in compliance of Lahore High Court (LHC) orders.
