Roznama Dunya fires four reporters abruptly after Islamabad launch
Roznama Dunya has unexpectedly fired four reporters four months post-launch in Islamabad. The abrupt terminations highlight potential issues within the newspaper.

ISLAMABAD: Just four months after their Islamabad launch, Roznama Dunya managers have fired four reporters. The journalists were sacked abruptly without any reason being cited.

Observers say the Urdu-language newspaper that began publishing from Islamabad at the start of the year has been unable to make much of an impression.

The sackings they point out are perhaps an indication all may not be well at the newspaper.
