Pakistan, India to initiate journalists exchange program

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) and India’s Society for Promotion of Peace have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote peace and harmony in both countries.

“Journalists of both sides will play their role to promote peace in the sub-continent and a journalists exchange program will also be initiated between India and Pakistan,” said the MoU.

In a statement, the PFUJ said a delegation of Pakistani journalists would soon visit India and then in turn will host the Indian delegation.

Both organisations will jointly hold press conferences, workshops and seminars to promote peace in the region, the MoU said.
