Majid Siddiqui to rejoin Abb Takk

ISLAMABAD - Television journalist Majid Siddiqui is to rejoin Abb Takk as senior executive producer/editor web and social media soon.

According to an insider, he will be looking after the channel’s current affairs department. He will also manage the organization’s two news websites along with its social media project.

Siddiqui was executive producer current affairs at Abb Takk two years ago but had quit and joined DawnNews. There he headed the current affairs department.

Later, he left DawnNews and started teaching at the Karachi University and Szabist.

Before Abb Takk and DawnNews, Siddiqui worked with various local and international organizations. He was with Dunya as senior producer talk shows, producing Dunya Today show with Dr. Moeed Pirzada.

Earlier, he had stints at Geo TV, CNBC Pakistan (now Jaag), Pakistan Business Update, Indus News and Pakistan Television.

Siddiqui is also a CNN fellow in Pakistan. He has worked with different CNN teams on various occasions in the last 10 years.
