ISIS beheads another American journalist
The beheading of American journalist Steven Sotloff by ISIS has been confirmed through video footage. This follows the earlier beheading of James Foley, raising concerns over journalist safety.

Steven Sotloff, an American journalist who was reported to be held by ISIS in Syria, has been apparently beheaded in an video.

A few weeks ago the ISIS beheaded another US journalist James Foley. Reports said the White House issued a statement saying the officials cannot verify the video footage.

The ISIS termed it a "second message to America". Sotloff was previously associated with TIME magazine, Foreign Policy, and other publications.
