ISLAMABAD: Islamabad employees of Capital TV protested Thursday over inordinate delay in disbursement of salaries.
More than 50 staff members began the protest at about 5pm pressing the management to clear their outstanding dues. Many employees had reportedly not been paid for three months that led to frustration building up.
The managers tried to calm the protesting workers but they stuck to their guns.
The protest was eventually called off early Friday, the management yielding and handing the workers post-dated cheques.
