US blogger Cynthia Ritchie found unconscious in her Islamabad flat
Cynthia Ritchie was discovered unconscious at her Islamabad residence and transported to Polyclinic Hospital. Doctors are awaiting test results to determine her condition.

ISLAMABAD—American blogger and journalist Cynthia D Ritchie was rushed to a hospital on Thursday after she was found unconscious at her flat.

Police said Ritchie was shifted to the Polyclinic Hospital for treatment. Doctors said that she was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state.

Hospital sources told Geo News that her stomach had been washed, adding that the stuff extracted from it had been sent to a laboratory for tests.

Doctors said they were waiting for the medical report before commenting any further on the matter.
