Submissions open for AIPS Media Awards 2020
The AIPS Media Awards 2020 competition invites submissions for sports storytelling across multiple platforms. The awards honor excellence in writing, photography, and video.

The third edition of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS) Media Awards 2020 competition is now open for submissions.

The AIPS Sport Media Award is the global prize for best sport storytellers across all platforms, from photography to video, from print to digital, and from podcasts to sports blogs.

All submissions must have been published between October 8, 2019, and October 7, 2020. Only articles, videos, and audios published between those dates will be valid.

According www.AIPSmedia.com, the association will continue with the same eight main categories that were present in the second edition, as follows: two for photography (Sport Action, Portfolio) two for writing (Best Column, Best Colour Piece), three for video (Short Feature, Athlete Profile, Documentary), and one for audio.

Winners of each category will get an $8,000 cheque, while second and third-place finishers receive 3,000 and 2,000 respectively.

The ninth category is the Special Young Reporter under 30 that has three subcategories: Writing, Photography, and Broadcasting. Winners of this category will receive a unique prize: a scholarship at a major international sporting event, with all expenses paid.
