Senior member of The News editorial team Abid Hussain passes away
Prof. Abid Hussain, a long-time member of The News, has sadly passed away due to health complications. He was known for his kindness and dedication in his work.

ISLAMABAD – Prof. Abid Hussain, a senior member of The News editorial team in Rawalpindi passed away in Rawalpindi Thursday.

Hussain was in hospital for a few days for a heart and lung ailment.

The deceased was associated with the Jang Group for about 20 years and initially worked with The News coordination team.

He also worked with the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. After retiring from there, he formally joined The News in 2001-2002.

His colleagues remember him as a gentleman who was very kind and hard working.

He was buried in a graveyard in Rawalpindi Friday.
