Senior journalist Majid Siddiqui joins Indus News

ISLAMABAD – Senior television journalist Majid Siddiqui has joined Indus News as editor output news/shows.

Siddiqui worked at Abb Takk since May 2017 in what was his second stint at the channel. There he managed their current affairs shows besides launching the channel’s English and Urdu websites and social media handles.

Indus News is an English language channel launched in November 2018 and is part of AAP Media Network.

Siddiqui at one time worked at DawnNews, heading the current affairs department. He also taught at the Karachi University and Szabist.

Before Abb Takk and DawnNews, Siddiqui was with various local and international organizations. He had a stint at Dunya News as senior producer talk shows, producing Dunya Today show with Dr. Moeed Pirzada.

Earlier, he remained associated with Geo TV, CNBC Pakistan (now Jaag), Pakistan Business Update, and Pakistan Television.

Siddiqui has also worked with different CNN teams on various occasions in the last 12 years.
