PM Imran Khan wants TV debate with Modi
Prime Minister Imran Khan has proposed a televised debate with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss and resolve ongoing tensions. This initiative aims to benefit the 1.7 billion people in the subcontinent. Khan's comments were made prior to his visit to Moscow to meet President Vladimir Putin.

ISLAMABAD—Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his desire to have a televised debate with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi to resolve differences between the two neighbors.

"I would love to debate with Narendra Modi on TV," Khan told Russia Today in an interview Tuesday, adding that it would benefit the 1.7 billion people in the subcontinent if differences could be resolved through debate.

His interview came on the eve of a visit to Moscow, where he will meet President Vladimir Putin—the first visit by a Pakistani leader to Russia in more than 20 years.
