ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Tuesday slapped a fine of Rs1 million on Geo News for accusing the armed force of “institutional corruption”.
A meeting of the authority at the PEMRA headquarters approved the recommendation of it Council of Complaints.
The regulator said Geo aired the comments in its program Aapas ki Baat in January.
