ISLAMABAD: Bahria Town Sunday formally announced through a newspaper advertisement its plans of entering the media.
"Bahria Town opens the doors to careers in the media," said a full-page advert in The Express Tribune that lists positions it is seeking for the television channel.
The advert said: "Bahria Town is now set to enter the media world with a network of newsgathering bureaus with offices in all major cities of Pakistan."
It said that Bahria Town will provide comprehensive coverage of news, entertainment, sports and property from across the globe. "The company is committed to engaging staff from all provinces and working with the community to develop and employ local talent."
The advertisement directs candidates to apply online at www.bahriatowntv.com.
Reports last month had said that Malik Riaz, the man behind Bahria Town plans to set up his own media empire by launching four television channels.
If my call is so important to them, why don’t they answer it for 22 minutes?
How come when I want to, but something specific online is the only item out of stock.
