Kashif Abbasi waits for an offer to jump ship?
On a day of major departures in Pakistani media, Kashif Abbasi joked about potential offers to leave ARY News. Meanwhile, Hamid Mir and Nadeem Malik have joined new channels.

ISLAMABAD – On a day two leading presenters quit their respective channels, ARY News anchor Kashif Abbasi jokingly indicated he was awaiting an offer to jump ship.

“My name is Kashif Abbasi, I am still with ARY #aiwein#statusupdate#khamakha#offerTuKoiDaalaybhaiii,” tweeted the presenter who hosts the talk show Off the Record.

On Friday the face of Geo News Hamid Mir joined the upcoming GNN Television while another prominent presenter Nadeem Malik announced he had quit SamaaTV. It is likely that he would join Geo News to fill the slot left vacant by Mir.
