House of president Panjgur Press Club comes under attack
Umar Majid's house, the President of Panjgur Press Club, was attacked in Balochistan. Fortunately, no casualties were reported during the incident.

QUETTA—Unidentified assailants allegedly targeted the house of Umar Majid, President of Panjgur Press Club, in Balochistan. However, no casualty was reported.

In a tweet, local journalist Ibrar Ahmed stated: "A house of #Panjgur based Journalist, President Panjgur Press Club #Umar_Majid has been attacked by unknown #armed men." He also shared the photographs of the alleged assault.

Journalist Majid is affiliated with the regional TV channel VSH News.

Balochistan has witnessed a spate of violence for the last many years. The local Baloch nationalists, the BLA, and the militants are involved in such attacks against journalists.
