Ex-PEMRA chairman Absar Alam terms Nawaz Sharif a good boss
Absar Alam, former PEMRA chairman, praised Nawaz Sharif as a strong leader during his time in office. He expressed satisfaction in working under Sharif, highlighting his respect for team members and operational autonomy.

ISLAMABAD - Absar Alam, who served as the chairman of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) during the government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), has owned up to his association with former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

In an Urdu tweet, Alam said he was satisfied working with Sharif, terming him a very good boss, who would give freedom to operate. He added that the former premier respected the people who worked with him.

He prayed for the health of Nawaz Sharif.

On December 18, 2017, Alam had to step down as chairman PEMRA after the Lahore High Court termed his appointment illegal.
