Deadline nears for US-Pakistan Professional Partnership Program
The USEFP has opened applications for the US-Pakistan Professional Partnership Program aimed at journalists. Eligible Pakistani digital journalists can apply by January 25 to participate in an enriching professional exchange.

ISLAMABAD - The United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) has asked journalists to apply for the US-Pakistan Professional Partnership Program by January 25.

This program involves journalists from both countries working together and building real professional relationships, as well as the opportunity to learn about media reporting in each other's countries, a USEFP media release said.

The program will provide approximately 110-140 participants from Pakistan an opportunity to study and take an active part in journalism as practiced in the US. Selected participants spend up to four weeks in a US newsroom.

The program is also knit throughout with events and opportunities to experience US life and showcasing its diversity.

Journalists who are Pakistani citizens, and currently working as digital journalists, and have three to 10 years of active experience in digital journalism with any media organization, are eligible to apply. - APP
