Channel 24 journalist among 37 injured in terrorist attack in Peshawar
A terrorist attack at Peshawar's Agricultural University injured 37, including a Channel 24 reporter. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility.

PESHAWAR – A reporter for Channel 24Television was among 37 injured Friday in a terrorist attack on a hostel of Peshawar’s Agricultural University Directorate. Nine people were reportedly killed.

Rehm Yousafzai suffered a bullet wound in the leg but was out of danger. He had gone to the scene on hearing gunfire when he got hit.

The security forces had cleared the hostel by noon, killing three terrorists involved in the morning attack.

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack.
