FAISALABAD—Reporter Fawad Azam Awan was killed in a road accident in Jaranwala on Saturday.

As a reporter, he worked for the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) and was a Lahore Press Club council member.

According to eyewitnesses, he was riding a bike and was trying to overtake a trailer loaded with sugarcane when the accident happened.
