Swat University launches web radio
The University of Swat has introduced a web radio for its Mass Communications students to enhance practical learning. This initiative aims to benefit local communities in the Malakand region.

SWAT: The University of Swat has launched its web radio to help students of Mass Communications Department to put their studies into practice. The radio can directly be accessed from the university's website and it would be run by students and staff of the Mass Communications Department. “Broadcast will be in English, Urdu and Pushto and will reach out to people across Malakand,” said University of Swat Vice Chancellor Professor Jehanzeb Khan. He said the university also plans to launch an FM station that would help students get hands-on training.
