Omar Quraishi to join ARY News as head of web, digital content
Omar R. Quraishi has been appointed as the head of web and digital content at ARY News. His role aims to enhance the channel's online footprint.
ISLAMABAD: Prominent journalist and columnist Omar R. Quraishi will be joining ARY News as head of web and digital content to strengthen the television channel’s online presence.
“Quraishi is hired to improve online strength of the channel, especially on social media, … in future ARY News may also launch an e-paper keeping in view the online business market and its outreach,” a source told JournalismPakistan.com.
Quraishi was previously working with The Express Tribune as its editorial pages editor. He also worked for The News and Dawn.
He has also been a Chevening South Asia Journalists Program fellow.
