Musharraf show on BOL News? It's a hoax

ISLAMABAD: Former President General Pervaiz Musharraf is to start his own show on BOL News Television -. the promo is out but it turned out to be a hoax.

The promo was everywhere on social media Friday. Intelligently and professionally done, it is apparently an attempt to malign BOL News, or perhaps a move to prove the channel’s alleged links with the establishment.

“Pakistan’s most authentic name on Pakistan’s biggest news channel, Pervaiz Musharraf, nothing is hidden from him … the President Musharraf Show,” says the promo.

It, however, does not say what kind of show it would be and how frequently it will be aired.

BOL News is to go on air on Ramadan 1.
