Journalist shot in Peshawar remains hospitalized
Abdul Azam, a journalist with Pakistan Television, was shot three times in Peshawar and is currently hospitalized. The motive behind the attack is still unclear as police continue their investigation.

PESHAWAR: Abdul Azam, a journalist working for Pakistan Television, who was shot thrice in Peshawar remains hospitalized, reports said.


The motive behind the attack is yet to be determined and police are investigating the incident. Peshawar has long remained a hotbed for terror activities and is home to several factions of militant groups.


On Tuesday gunmen in Karachi opened fire on a Geo News Television van, killing technician Arshad Ali Jaffery and injuring a driver while on Wednesday unidentified assailants gunned down senior journalist Aftab Alam, also in Karachi.
