Geo appoints Raees Ansari as Lahore Bureau Chief
Raees Ansari has been appointed as the Lahore Bureau Chief for Geo News, filling a role that has been vacant since January. He previously served as the Controller News in Karachi.

LAHORE: Geo News have appointed Raees Ansari, as their Lahore Bureau Chief, a position that lay vacant since Khawar Naeem Hashmi quit in January and joined BOL.

Ansari was previously Geo’s Controller News in Karachi. He formally assumed charge of the Lahore office on Tuesday (September 1).

Meanwhile, insiders tell JournalismPakistan.com that Geo management wants some of their former employees who had joined BOL to return. Negotiations with them are said to be on.
