Shahzeb Khan, a cameraman for Express News in Peshawar, won the Ramazan Facebook Photo Contest organized by the American Consulate. He received a digital camera and a certificate for his winning photo that depicted young volunteers serving Iftar to children at an orphanage.

PESHAWAR: Cameraman Shahzeb Khan of Express News TV Peshawar has won the Ramazan Facebook Photo Contest organized by the American Consulate here.

In a ceremony on September 6, Consul General Robert Reed presented Shahzeb with the digital camera prize and a certificate signed by him.

The judges agreed that by portraying young volunteers serving Iftar to children at an orphanage, the photographer captured the true spirit of Ramazan - that of serving others first and helping those in need.

There were hundreds of excellent photo submissions and the committee had a difficult time in selecting the winning photo.
