ACCA, WWF announce environmental reporting awards
ACCA and WWF-Pakistan are calling for submissions for the Environmental Reporting Awards. These awards, established in 2001, aim to promote best practices in sustainability reporting.
ISLAMABAD: The ACCA and WWF-Pakistan have asked organizations working on environment to submit their annual report, environmental or sustainable report for the 2014 awards.
Last date for submission of entries is March 13, 2015. The awards were launched in 2001. In a newspaper advertisement, the organizations say the awards are designed to support and promote best practice in environment and sustainability reporting in the country.
The ad further says the Pakistan Environmental Reporting Awards have been established to recognize those organisations which report on the environmental and social impacts of their operations.
“ACCA WWF-Pakistan Environmental Reporting Awards have played a leading role in raising awareness of the benefits of sustainable business practice in the country and our high profile awards acknowledge best practices in environmental, social and sustainability reporting,” the ad said.
