ISLAMABAD - Zarrar Khuhro, one of the three hosts of talk show Zara Hat Kay on DawnNews TV, on Thursday swiftly debunked a tweet claiming that media was ignoring a huge protest against alleged rigging in the July 25 general elections.

A tweet by Palwasha Abbass carried a picture of a huge gathering of a religious party, complaining “Media ignoring all these protests #OppositionRejectsGE18.”

Ms Abbass introduces herself as a proud Pukhtana/a nationalist activist/ spokesperson @NYO_ANP/Pakhtoonkwa/social activist/from Charsadda.

In his light and disarming style, Khuhro simply told her: “Probably because this is from Soomro sb's funeral and not a protest. Maybe. Just putting it out there you know.”
