KARACHI—Veteran journalist Nazeer Khan passed away in Karachi on Thursday after a prolonged illness.
Khan, 93, remained associated with Urdu daily Jasarat and other news publications during his 50-year career.
Representatives of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists, Karachi Union of Journalists, and Karachi Press Club expressed grief over the demise of the veteran journalist. They said that his services for the promotion of professional journalism would always be remembered.
The journalist fraternity immensely respected Khan. In 2019, the KPC organized an event to pay tributes to him.
