Hafiz Tariq Mahmood has been appointed as the Director News at Channel 92. Known for his leadership and extensive experience, he previously worked at Waqt News.

LAHORE: Senior broadcast journalist Hafiz Tariq Mahmood has reportedly joined Channel 92 as Director News.

Tariq has a vast experience in journalism. His colleagues say he is a leader with a cool head. He quit Waqt News in January after which the channel saw Dr Moeed Pirzada and some other team members leaving.

A gold medalist from Karachi University Tariq has reported on events from Karachi to Kabul, has covered the Iraq War and interviewed dozens of national and international leaders.
