LAHORE: Sohail Warraich, host of program ‘Aik din Geo Kay Saath’ (One day with Geo) on Geo Television is joining Dunya Group, JournalismPakistan.com has learnt.

Known for his sarcastic speaking tone and humor, Warraich could replace Nazir Naji, the Group Editor at Dunya, insiders say.

“All things have been finalized and he will also be bringing along with him one or two journalists of his choice,” those in the know of the development said.

Warraich, who is also an analyst, was associated with Geo TV for a long time. His program Aik din Geo Kay Saath gained great popularity because of his unique style and his pet question often asked of his guests – Kia ye khulla tazaad nahin (Is this not an open contradiction?).
