ISLAMABAD:Roznama Dunya has stepped up a gear in a bid to launch the newspaper from Islamabad. According to a JournalismPakistan.com source, the managers have set December 24 as the starting date.
Since the appointment of Masood Malik as the resident editor last week, hiring of staff has gathered pace. Journalists from Nawa-i-Waqt, Daily Express and Ausaf have been signed up for the desk while a reporting team is already in place.
The first dummy of the Islamabad edition is expected to roll off the press on Thursday night.
The Urdu-language newspaper of the Dunya Media Group first began publishing from Lahore in September and later from Faisalabad, Karachi and Gujranwala.
