ISLAMABAD: Reham Khan, broadcast journalist and wife of PTI chief Imran Khan, hosted her last program Sunday (August 16) on DawnNews and would be focusing on her film Janaan. “Just recorder my last show with Mahira Khan. Couldn’t have chosen a better last guest,” she tweeted. To a question from one of her followers on Twitter, she replied: “Taking a mini break to work on my film project.” She, however, didn’t give any timeframe to her followers and fans about her return on the television screen. Janaan is a commercial Urdu film and its story revolves around a Pukhtoon family in Swat. It is a light romantic comedy and work on it has started. Reham Khan started her new program “The Reham Khan Show” on DawnNews in the last week of May this year, a few months after marrying Imran. The show was broadcast Sunday from 11pm to 12pm wherein celebrities were interviewed. She has interviewed people from different walks of life including Shehzad Roy, Samina Baig, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, Wasim Akram and his wife Shaniera Akram, Jahangir Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Ali Zafar. Earlier, she remained associated with NewsOne, Aaj TV and Pakistan Television.
