ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has banned the broadcast or re-broadcast of a Zong 4G commercial with immediate effect.
The regulator said it had informed the Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) to amend the advert by March 20.
It said, the advertiser initially made the required amendments but subsequently, re-amended the advertisement and inserted the same objectionable visuals.
PEMRA said it had started receiving complaints against the ad again.
