ISLAMABAD – Anchor Rana Mubashir Friday abruptly quit Aaj News Television after being with them for over two years.
It was not immediately clear why he had resigned. He hosted his last program Wednesday in which Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad was the guest.
Mubashir joined Aaj from Express News. Before that, he was with News One where he served as Director News and Current Affairs for over seven years. Earlier on in his career, he worked for PTV and The News.
At Aaj News, he hosted the program Aaj Rana Mubashir Kay Sath.
