Rana Mubashir quits Aaj, joins Suno

ISLAMABAD—Senior anchor Rana Mubashir has quit Aaj News to join the new Suno channel.

At Suno, which is presently running its test transmission, Mubashir will host a talk show besides handling the Sindh and Balochistan news.

He was at Aaj for almost five years, his second stint at the channel where he hosted the program Aaj Rana Mubashir Kay Saath. Mubashir first quit Aaj in December 2016 before rejoining in August 2017.

He served as news and current affairs director at NewsOne for over seven years. Earlier on in his career, he worked for PTV and The News. He has also had a stint at Express News. He also has extensive experience in print journalism.
