ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority Thursday slapped a fine of Rs500000 on Nickelodeon TV for showing indecent content.
The channel was served a show-cause notice on April 28 for showing the objectionable material in the episode The Emperor’s Throne of the cartoon series Winx Club.
After hearing the channel’s representative and analyzing the written reply it was found it had violated certain clauses of the Electronic Media Code of Conduct, 2015.
