ISLAMABAD–Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has banned ARY Digital drama Jalan following complaints by viewers over inappropriate content.
In a notification, the regulator said that Jalan did not align with the cultural and societal values of the country, adding that the serial featuring Minal Khan and Emaad Irfaani went against the ethics and morals of Pakistan.

At the start of the month, PEMRA banned the telecast of drama Ishqiya on ARY Digital and Pyar k Sadkyon Hum TV for content deemed against social and religious values.
