ISLAMABAD—The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has taken several important decisions, including the approval of the transfer of shares and changes in the management of three private TV channels.
According to a press release, the participants unanimously approved the application of Messrs Jaag Broadcasting Systems Limited, Karachi, which runs Samaa TV, for change of management and transfer of its shares.
Similarly, two separate requests for transfer of shares and induction of new directors/shareholders of Messrs Al Kamal Media (Pvt) and Messrs Lucky Broadcasting (SMC Pvt Ltd) were also approved.
