ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted broadcasting rights to PTV Sports and Ten Sports for next five years.

The meeting of governing board of the PCB was held in Lahore on Tuesday which was attended by chairman of broadcast rights bidding committee Ehsan Mani and other members. PTV Sports and Ten Sports are now entitled to broadcast Pakistan’s domestic cricket and other events.

Chairman PCB Shaharyar Khan also announced holding Pakistan Super League next year to promote domestic cricket and hunt new talent.

He said that regional cricket academies will be established in Rawalpindi and Faisalabad. In addition, existing academies at Multan and Karachi will be upgraded and made operational.
