ISLAMABAD: A scientific list of ‘worst jobs’ prepared by CareerCast.com has ranked newspaper journalist as the worst job of 2015.

“Readership has steadily moved from print publications, whether they be newspapers or magazines, in favor of online outlets,” explained the site. “The resulting decline in advertising revenue has left newspapers—and thus, newspaper reporters—feeling the pinch.”

Out of 200 jobs analyzed by the CareerCast, newspaper reporter landed with a thud at 200. Jobs that are ranked higher include firefighter (192), corrections officer (194) and enlisted military personnel (198).
