LAHORE: A new television channel named Neo TV, has been launched in a simple but impressive ceremony in Lahore. Neo TV is a project of Nai Baat Media Network that publishes Urdu-language daily newspaper Nai Baat from different cities. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, chairman Nai Baat Media Network, inaugurated the channel along with the staff including anchorpersons and reporters. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, chief ministers of all provinces and governors congratulated the channel’s management in their separate messages. “I hope Neo TV will contribute in strengthening democracy and stability of the country,” the prime minister said in his message. Neo TV will broadcast programs on different issues including politics, economy and showbiz round the clock.
