Mushtaq Minhas, known for his show Bolta Pakistan on Aaj TV, has taken a prominent role at BOL News. His extensive experience in journalism is expected to contribute significantly to the network.
ISLAMABAD: Mushtaq Minhas of Bolta Pakistan-fame on Aaj TV, has joined BOL News as Executive Vice President and senior anchorperson.
He began his journalistic career in 1992 as a reporter with daily Khabrain in Islamabad and later also remained associated with other dailies like Din, Ausaf and Express as senior correspondent.
Minhas started his own unique program “Bolta Pakistan” on Aaj TV with senior journalist Nusrat Javeed that later set a trend of co-hosts in the current affairs programs.
The government of Pakistan also awarded Minhas with Best Reporter Award for his Earthquake Coverage in 2005.
“Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas is one of the leading Shaheens in Pakistan’s journalism industry and he will play a significant role in helping BOL revolutionize Pakistan’s media industry,” Shoaib Ahmed Shaikh, BOL’s Chairman and CEO said in a statement.
