MQM protest against ARY News continues
MQM supporters held a protest against ARY News outside the Karachi Press Club. They criticized the news channel for biased coverage of the party's leadership.
KARACHI: A day after MQM parliamentarians protested in the Sindh Assembly, hundred of party supporters gathered outside Karachi Press Club Thursday to protest against ARY News.
The protestors were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the channel, some of its anchorpersons and the management.
They said the ARY News management should take stock of the one-sided and partial talk shows being aired against MQM leadership.
“Thousands of men, women and children attended MQM’s protest,” said Mustafa Azizabadi, a senior MQM leader.
The MQM leadership has been complaining of its “media trial” by news channels after Rangers conducted a raid on Nine-Zero, the party's political headquarters in Karachi.
