Moeed Pirzada hits back at Hamid Mir

ISLAMABAD—Prominent anchor Hamid Mir has tweeted sarcastically based on a past incident, hinting anchor Moeed Pirzada was behind lobbying for recognizing Israel. However, in response, Pirzada refuted the claim.

In a tweet, Pirzada said that Mir was distorting the facts about the incident, which happened in 2019.

"True to his spirit, Hamid Mir is distorting facts...it was mentioned that Israel may have supported India's attack on Balakot," Pirzada tweeted.

Pirzada said that he had reminded the prime minister that the Arab countries (UAE and others) were forging closer ties with Israel. He said more than 40 journalists were present during the said meeting.
