Mirza new Managing Director at Geo News
Yousaf Baig Mirza takes over as Managing Director of Geo News after Azhar Abbas's departure. He has extensive experience in media management across Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD: Yousaf Baig Mirza has joined Geo News Television as Managing Director following a brief stint at Channel 92 where he was the Chief Executive Officer.
HipinPakistan.com reported that Mirza will take up Azhar Abbas’s position at Geo News who had joined BOL News as the President and CEO in August 2013.
Credited with launching some of the most successful channels in both the public and private sectors, Mirza has vast experience of media management in Pakistan and abroad.
Prior to joining Channel 92, he served as the Chief Executive Officer at Express Media Group, Dunya News and was Managing Director of Pakistan Television.
