Media coverage of Jamaat-ud-Dawa, LeT banned
The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority has enforced a ban on media coverage of Jamaat-ud-Dawa, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Falah-e-Insaniyat. This decision is part of the National Action Plan established to combat terrorism in Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has banned media coverage of Jamaat-ud-Dawa, Falah-e-Insaniyat and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) under the National Action Plan.

Reports said the regulatory authority has issued a notification in this regard. Jamaat-ud-Dawa is on the list of terrorist organizations named by the United States and United Nations. The National Action Plan was devised in January 2015 following the horrific attack on Army Public School in Peshawar.
