ISLAMABAD: M. Ziauddin, Executive Editor at The Express Tribune, has reportedly resigned citing differences with the management over editorial policy.
In a recent television talk show and some other press forums, Ziauddin expressed his unhappiness the way the Express Group launched scathing attacks on industry rival Geo following the murderous assault on presenter Hamid Mir.
However, some circles said the veteran journalist had quit because of the group's latest hiring of controversial televangelist Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
