Khyber News faces Rs600,000 PEMRA fine

ISLAMABAD - The Council of Complaints of PEMRA has recommended a fine of Rs600,000 on Khyber News for airing objectionable content against the judiciary.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Council also directed the channel to pay off the fine within seven days and air an apology.

A PEMRA release said that if the channel committed the same mistake again or failed to comply with the Council's decisions, their license could be cancelled.
