Key Samaa man resigns
Atif Majeed Awan has left his position at Samaa TV to join Channel 92. His tenure at Samaa lasted under a year, and he departed of his own accord.

ISLAMABAD: Atif Majeed Awan, Assistant Controller News at Samaa TV has quit the channel after an association that lasted less than a year. He has now joined Channel 92 which is yet to go on air, as Controller News. Atif arrived at Samaa in 2012 from Geo TV after serving for 10 years as Executive Producer and was among the pioneers. Insiders tell JournalismPakistan.com, Atif had no issues with the Samaa management and left of his own will to take up the new job. Channel 92 is a news and current affairs channel that will also have infotainment and entertainment programming.
