KARACHI—Prominent journalist, columnist and analyst Wasat Ullah Khan, is on the mend after undergoing open heart surgery.
Journalist Syed Ali Shah in his tweet termed Khan’s condition stable and prayed for his immediate recovery, adding "he is credible and lovely journalist."
Former Dawn Editor Abbas Nasir also wished him a speedy recovery and hoped to see him in action soon.
Many other journalists, well-wishers, and followers prayed for Khan’s recovery.
Khan writes columns for Daily Express, BBC Urdu and participates in a TV show on Dawn News.
